Departmental Seminar??
This was not in the plan. Apparently, I've got to hold a Departmental Seminar on my proposal/thesis fairly soon. Great, now I gotta swing some time off work. Gonna force me to solve this legitimacy/justification problem right quick.
Last night was go night, and I did okay, winning three out of four. There seems, however, to be a recurrant weakness in my game. In particular, in the early middle game. I often seem to have one really weak group; it's like I'm missing the right time to strengthen this group. Might just be a timing issue.
Must get back into the go study routine again: Tsumego and the 1971 Honinbo Tournament.
