Starving the seas

Given the awesome effectiveness of industrial fishing, you'd think that we could sit back, put our feet up on our current wage slave, smoke our cigar (handmade by another wage slave, who, after all, exists to fulfill our needs), and congratulate ourselves on a job well done hoovering the oceans clean. But no, we've gotta continue pumping out CO2, which increases the global temperature, which decreases phytoplankton.

Yeah, that's right, oops. Sorry marine foodchain.

I don't know, maybe the phytoplankton are holding out for peak oil.
