UNEP: Information for the rich, poor too remain in the dark
Sent this email today to UNEP.
Dear Ms. Kebede,
I noticed with great interest that Global Environment Outlook 4 has just been published. The latest research from UNEP on the global environmental situtation would be very helpful in our advocacy work to reduce CO2 emissions and preserve biodiversity. However, the UNEP website indicates that this report is not downloadable and can only be published for US$80, which is beyond our means and that of most of the global south. Surely, this information is too important to be restricted to only the rich?
