Use of Weapons

Been reading Use of Weapons by Iain M. Banks, for the second time. Every so often, an author puts out a book that he will never, not if he lives for a thousand years and writes everyday, surpass. Use of Weapons is it for Banks, and that's no bad thing.

It is the kind of book, that when all of life's troubles and your mistakes haunt you with a demonic pressure, you can cuddle up in your favorite chair and feel better.
