Philosophy Blogs
There seems to be a particular kind of humour associated with philosophy blogs (my favourite has to be "what it is like to be a blog?"). As a philosophy student, I can see how this happens. Even one reading of the Critique of Pure Reason is enough to unhinge anyone, let alone learning German for a deeper understanding. Can you imagine if the Critique had been written today? After slogging through ten pages, academic editors--never noted for their love of the English language or any other, for that matter--would be reaching for green bins in a sudden conversion to recycling.
