Departmental Seminar III

Come and gone, and with the expected googly or two.

After an unproductive couple of hours spent trying to pay my fees, I entered the philosophy seminar room and presented my proposal to thirteen individuals, either students of philosophy or lecturers of philosophy, very few of whom knew anything about political philosophy.

Good News: Number 1 & Number 2 in the philosophy department plus other MA student supported it.
Good News: While everyone else was bored, uninterested, unimpressed, or downright hostile, they don't matter. Amongst equals, some people's opinions rate more.
Bad News: Humour was not these folks' strong point.
Bad News: Made no new friends or allies, but, then again, knowing me is like biting on tinfoil.
